Appreciating the wonders and beauty of Nature at Lower Peirce Reservoir Park

When I was sitting on a bench beside the reservoir to rest, where families, joggers and cyclists occasionally pass by, a little girl, probably about 5 years old, came up to me and handed me a small flower that she probably plucked from a nearby shrub before continuing her way. I felt honored and decided to take pictures of the flower as a remembrance. I felt like I was visited by an angel or something like that, and Jesus’ words about becoming like a little child to enter the kingdom of God came to my mind – maybe this quaint episode is to remind me to practice mindfulness and appreciate the beauty and wonders of life.
