    1. You are welcome. You can take Bus 28 or 93, and alight along Bartley Road where you can see the stretch of forested area.

The nearest MRT station is Bartley MRT station along the Circle Line, which is located next to Maris Stella High School. The next nearest MRT station is Woodleigh MRT station along the Northeast Line, next to the junction between Upper Serangoon Road and Upper Aljunied Road. It may take about 5-10 minutes to walk from either MRT station towards the forest.

Do let me know if you need further help with directions, and I will be glad to help accordingly.

  1. Thank you so much for the directions. Not many people know about this. Thank you so much. And one more thing I would like to ask, the forest can be entered freely for photoshoots right? As some places are restricted.

    1. You are most welcome, my friend. Yes, the forest can be entered freely for photoshoots. I think that even though the eastern edge of the forested area is near Gurkha Contigent camp, as long as the area is not fenced off, it is open to public and I have walked through the forest without facing/encountering any kind of restriction myself.

  2. Alright thank you so much about the information all. I would like to do a vintage theme in that forest, is it okay?

  3. Thank you! One more thing if I can ask, if I were to alight at bartley mrt, which exit should I take and walk to the forest?

    1. You are welcome. If you alight at Bartley MRT station, use the exit near the passenger service office where you can take the escalator up to the ground surface. Once you reach the top, turn to your left and you will see the taxi stand and then turn left again to walk past a bus stop and Maris Stella high school and you will reach the forest in about 5-8 minutes.
