Comparing photos of different shutter speeds

A slow shutter speed allows the camera to capture the flowing effect of the cascading water, instead of freezing the motion of the water droplets if a fast shutter were to be used.
An even slower shutter speed of the camera enhances the silky appearance of the cascading water.
